Find all of the bargains that you could ever want in Georgia. Here is a guide to finding nice, name brand clothes, antiques and furniture near Atlanta, Ga.

With its outlet shopping centers, malls and strip shopping centers, Atlanta, Ga., has some of the best shopping in the South. According to the Atlanta Conventions and Visitor’s Bureau, Atlanta is among top ten retail market in the United States. The shopping is great for the holidays or any other time of the year. Here are five of the best places for shopping in and around Atlanta:

Atlanta Georgia Shopping Malls

The Mall of Georgia one of the most popular Atlanta, Georgia shopping malls. The Mall of Georgia, 30 miles from Atlanta, is actually located in Buford, Georgia. It is the largest malls in the state of Georgia, with over 200 stores. In addition to stores like Nordstrom, Belk, JC Penney’s and Macy’s, visitors will find Coach, Armani Exchange, and Eddie at this mall. The Mall of Georgia, 3333 Buford Drive, is open Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday Noon to 6 p.m.

Atlanta natives know Phipps Plaza in Atlanta’s Buckhead is where to go for upscale shopping. Cartier, Burberry, and Louis Vuiton are examples of some of the stores found in Phipps Plaza. Phipps Plaza is located at 3500 Peachtree Road. The mall is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from Noon to 5:30 p.m.

Outlet Malls in Atlanta, Georgia Area

Tanger Outlet Centers has two Georgia locations near Atlanta. The Commerce Outlet Center is the largest, with 125 stores. The Commerce Outlet Center is located at 800 Steven B. Tanger Blvd., off of Interstate 85, exit 53, The second Tanger Outlet, the Locust Grove location, at 1000 Tanger Drive in Locust Grove, Ga., is located off of Interstate 75, exit 68. Discount prices on clothes can be found at the Banana Republic Factory Store, Coach Factory, Lane Bryant Outlet, Nike Factory Store, and other stores in the outlets.

North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville is about 45 minutes North of Atlanta. This outlet has 140 stores and is touted as a premium outlet mall, with stores like Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole and Saks 5th Avenue. There is even a shuttle which transports visitors from their hotels in downtown Atlanta to North Georgia Premium Outlets.

Buy Furniture in Atlanta

Miami Circle in Atlanta is a good place to hunt for home décor and antiques. There are, according to the Atlanta Conventions and Visitor’s Bureau, more than 80 shops with antiques, furniture, rugs, and home lighting, in Miami Circle. People who are looking for a special lamp or a unique chandelier should make a trip out to Miami Circle. The shops are typically open Monday to Saturday.
